Here’s a brand new Improv POV video I took while at the practice factory with my brother. This one is a little lighter and slower of a mindset than the usual. Enjoy it!

Greetings my friends!
Here’s another Improv POV video for you! This short video includes a little bit of snare rolling, double kick, tons of cymbals, and a heavy breakdown on the china near the end. I’m noticing a slow improvement each time I get behind the kit and it feels great to be able to notice progress! I would also like to let you know that drinking beer and playing drums is not an easy thing to do well.
I hope you enjoy the video and check back here at www.TheEndIsNich.com for more next week!
Recently I’ve acquired my own GoPro! Get stoked because I’ve decided to strap it on my head every once and again when I get the chance to practice. I’ve had tons of positive feedback regarding my POV covers and intend on releasing more in the future but I want to release something a little more intimate. I’ve decided to expand my video library to more than just your typical ‘song play through ‘ and include unedited videos of me just getting lost in the moment. I call it Improv POV. It’s exactly what you think it is. You get to get lost with me.
I hope you enjoy the new addition to the video line-up. Sit back, adjust the volume to what’s comfortable for you, and enjoy the fuck out of the first, Improv POV.
Here’s a brand new tune I created called, Taking Control. I made it to help me deal with taking control of my life and the reality of being responsible for my actions, inactions, the good, and the bad. Every time I get angry I need to examine that moment and make a conscious effort to learn from that experience and take responsibility for my negative actions. The same is true for every time I’m having a great day at work, in the studio, or being around people I love. In those moments of pure happiness are lessons about yourself as well. Examine those good moments and take responsibility for those too. By maximizing the amount of happiness in your life and taking stock in every situation you find yourself in you can optimize your reality to be exactly the way you intend it to be. It’s as easy as taking control.
I hope you feel it.
After releasing my new CD, ‘MMXIII‘, I found that I’ve been neglecting my practice. So here’s the results of locking myself in the studio (it’s often the only way I can force myself to do anything productive, to force myself into it) for about 6 hours. I’m learning how to automate effects, effectively pan sounds, and layering frequencies for maximum feels. I hope you enjoy this little outing. Feel free to download it should you wish to hear it again another time.
I give you, Stand Your Ground.
